The best hiking weather is sleet and hail right? 🫠

This was a pretty tough day, but we still made the most of it and did one of the most difficult hikes on the islands, Reinebeingen.

‼️ Disclaimer: it’s not recommended to do this hike in the winter, we didn’t get to do all of it! But we did have spikes and poles, we definitely don’t recommend this if you don’t have the proper equipment.

Tomorrow is our last day, but it’s the BEST one so stay tuned 👀👀

There are so many incredible hikes that make this state so special, but these a 4 major ones that really make it stand out!

💦Amicalola falls is one of the most iconic and well known hikes. Kid friendly and just a short hike to the falls

🏜️ Providence canyon is our mini Grand Canyon and great day trip with the family. There’s several canyons to look at and it feels like it doesn’t belong in this state.

🪨 Stone Mountain is one of our most iconic land marks here! Great place to spend a day doing activities, but there are so many great hikes around

🌳 Tallulah Gorge one of our personal favorite hikes! This gorge is GORGEous and we love visiting it the most in the fall. Over 2 miles long and 1000ft deep it’s great for hiking, swimming, and adventuring!

Must do sunset boat tour in New Orleans 🚢

We’re not big into partying, but we still wanted to enjoy some of the New Orleans nightlife, so we booked a boat tour with @getyourguide and it felt so iconic to ride on the @steamernatchez

Providence canyon is one of Georgia’s 7 natural wonders! Although it was actually formed due to poor farming practices back in the 1800s, it’s still an incredible place to see geological formations! There’s over 2,700 acres of this canyon to explore with several hiking trails and picnic tables.

Horseshoe bend in a wonder 🥹

This has been a bucket list place for both of us for YEARS ✨ and in our opinion it totally lived up to the hype

✍🏽 Planning:
💵 It cost $5 per vehicle to park and Horseshoe Bend, just a heads up.
🚐 Vans do have to park in the back.
⏱️It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to the view point, it’s about a mile.
🛣️ The road is paved so it’s an easy walk
☀️ it’s CROWDED at sunset, people get there really early (we didn’t 😂) but we had no problem getting a good spot! There are a number of viewpoints. We stayed at @roam_america which was SO close

Horseshoe bend in a wonder 🥹

This has been a bucket list place for both of us for YEARS ✨ and in our opinion it totally lived up to the hype

✍🏽 Planning:
💵 It cost $5 per vehicle to park and Horseshoe Bend, just a heads up.
🚐 Vans do have to park in the back.
⏱️It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to the view point, it’s about a mile.
🛣️ The road is paved so it’s an easy walk
☀️ it’s CROWDED at sunset, people get there really early (we didn’t 😂) but we had no problem getting a good spot! There are a number of viewpoints. We stayed at @roam_america which was SO close

Here’s your ultimate 4 day Arizona roadtrip itinerary 👇🏼

Day 1
Land in Phoenix and stay overnight or get your van and go. This will depend on flight time!

Day 2
Leav Phoenix and head to Sedona
🥾Cathedral Rock (1.2 miles)
🥵Moderate-hard
💡Be prepared to CLIMB and wear comfortable shoes.
⭐️Tip: go right before sunset!

Finish the drive to Page

Day 3
Wake up in Page
📍Beehive trail (3 mile loop)
🥵Moderate
⭐️ AKA the “new” wave. This hike is GORGEOUS has so many incredible views and it an incredible alternative if you don’t have Wave permits.

🥾Antelope Canyon: you do need a guide, we did the lower canyon and it was perfect! The canyons all do look very similar, we loved our guide and the tour was great. $70.

🥾Hanging Gardens Trail (1.5 miles)
🥵Easy
🌱Such a nice walk and leads to very beautiful hanging gardens. We’d never seen anything like it! The views on this trail were great, definitely worth doing.

Day 4
🥾The Dune (.5-1 mile)
🥵Easy
🏜️This is really for the views, but man the views are so worth it! Hike is behind the shell station in Page.

After the Dune make your way back to Sedona

🥾Devil’s Bridge (1-6 miles)
🥵Moderate
💡We did the longer trail and then cut it short on our way back because it was getting dark.
⭐️ This was so worth it, we went at sunset and had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend

Day 5 head home ✈️

💦 Just a 0.05 mile (100 yard) hike from the parking lot and you’ll see this unreal free falling 186 foot waterfall in Toccoa, GA.
Easily one of our favorite waterfalls in this state!

This has become our new thing on our sunrise hikes! We use our @jetboil and make a cup of Joe for each of us and it make the hike that much kore rewarding and the sunrise that much more enjoyable! ☕️
